2018 saw a 31% growth in revenue across the sector in 2018, attributed to a growth in the total number of shows hosted (37) and an impressive repeat rate of 86% from the previous year.18

High-profile events such as The Northern Business Exhibition and the Digital Kids Show visited for the first time, whilst long-standing clients such as IP EXPO continued their association with the venue.

Our commitment to continually improving our offer for exhibitors, organisers and visitors, has seen the venue invest in new facilities, revamp its retail catering offer and work with city partners to deliver an unforgettable experience for all visitors to Manchester.

Bradley Maule-ffinch, Director of Strategy for IP EXPO Event Series, explained why Manchester Central was an obvious choice to host their event. He said: โ€œWe initially chose Manchester Central due to its central location in the city, making it easy for our exhibitors, speakers and delegates from across the globe to visit.

Over the years the venue continues to be the perfect choice for our event, with the light airy nature of the building making it comfortable for delegates visiting. The Manchester Central team are always a fantastic help in making sure our event is a success and weโ€™re really looking forward to returning next yearโ€.

Shaun Hinds, CEO of Manchester Central said: โ€œNothing is quite like the buzz of an exhibition floor and Iโ€™m delighted that more and more exhibitions are calling Manchester Central their home. The flexibility of our venue means that we can host exhibitions of all shapes and sizes, maximising opportunities to network and do businessโ€.

Last week it was announced that Manchester Central has been shortlisted for โ€˜Best Venue over 8,000sqmโ€™ at the Exhibition Awards.
