For the first time, the company decided to bring together all their divisions for their sales conference rather than holding individual events for each division as they have previously.

Taking up a number of branding opportunities the organiser made the venue their own and created an exceptional welcome for attendees.

The main event took place in Central Hall 2 which was divided into several different areas to accommodate the different elements of the event. There was an exhibition, presentation stage, team building area and a canteen area where the team could connect outside of the sessions.

The company also utilised one of the Central breakout rooms for a wellbeing area, giving staff somewhere to take a break from the event and relax in a quiet space.

For the team building activity the staff took part in a Brazilian themed music session getting everyone in the party mood for the Awards Dinner that evening.

As the first day of the conference wrapped up, the Manchester Central team turned the presentation space around, ready for the dinner. Following a drinks reception in Central Foyer, guests were treated to a three-course meal before hitting the dancefloor.

The team went above and beyond.

Not only did each department perform their role incredibly well, but they were also a pleasure to work with – friendly faces, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a real can-do attitude. Nothing was too much trouble.

The catering was brilliant. It was so fresh, always on time, and exceeded expectations. I liked that for our numbers you didn’t place all the food out in buffet trays, but instead regularly replaced lovely salad platters and trays so that it felt more deli-style and enjoyable.

It’s rare to have an event where absolutely nothing goes wrong onsite, and I am beyond elated that this was the case, and it’s truly down to this team’s efforts.

I hope to bring many more events back to Manchester Central!
