Manchester Central launches new banqueting packages
Published at 09:41 on 29th of January 2010
The new banqueting product has been created following extensive research and improvements to the venue’s facilities, as part of Manchester Central’s wider £20 million redevelopment. Investment in areas such as carpeting, décor and lighting means that Manchester Central is now able to offer a choice of comprehensive banqueting packages.
The range of affordable and clearly priced packages has been designed to make it easy for clients to select an option to suit their budget. Packages range in price from £55 per person, up to £75 per person, with the enhanced packages including a wider selection of menus and a choice of additional ‘extras’ such as centrepieces or chair covers.
The selection of exciting new menus, which use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, has been designed by the venue’s award-winning executive chef, Simon Firth. Simon’s career has spanned 22 years and in 2007, he was awarded the title of ‘World Master Chef’. During his career, he has been awarded a string of top accolades including 7 AA rosettes, two RAC blue ribbon dining awards and the ‘Diploma in Culinary Excellence’ by the Master Chef Society. He brings a wealth of skill, creativity and experience to the menus he creates for guests at Manchester Central.
In addition to the quality and choice of packages, Manchester Central also offers the largest banqueting facilities in the region and an exceptional city centre location. The venue can accommodate up to 900 in Exchange Hall and up to 4,000 in the iconic Central Hall. In addition to this, upon completion of the venue’s redevelopment programme, Manchester Central will also be able to accommodate smaller dinners for up to 400 guests, making it a flexible, affordable and high quality choice.
