As well as the in-house press office, Manchester Central employs Bird Consultancy PR agency, which has been working with the venue for more than 15 years. Bird Consultancy can be contacted on 0161 839 4846.

Our events

If you are a member of the media and would like to attend an event being held at Manchester Central, you must obtain written permission from the event organiser. Manchester Central cannot allow media access to its events without permission from the organisers.

Please do not contact the press office to obtain access to events without first having permission from the organiser, as Manchester Central cannot allow anyone access to an event without the organisers’ permission.

Please note that if you are attending an event, there is a charge to use the venue’s wi-fi. Email computerservices@manchestercentral.co.uk for details.

Filming

If you wish to film an event, you must obtain permission from the organiser. A copy of the Filming Agreement  Form must be completed and returned to the venue prior to commencement. Please email press@manchestercentral.co.uk to obtain this form. 

This form must also be completed if you wish to film the venue exterior, or use Manchester Central's land for filming. Please return the form to press@manchestercentral.co.uk. 

Photography

Photography of the venue and its events is not permitted without prior agreement. Please fill in the Photography Agreement Form and return to the venue for approval before the photography takes place. Please email press@manchestercentral.co.uk to obtain this form. Please return the form to press@manchestercentral.co.uk. 

A number of professional images of the venue and its interior are available for media use. Please contact the press office to request these.

Press pack

You can request Manchester Central’s press pack from the press office. The pack contains key facts about the venue and photographs which may be used with a credit to Manchester Central.
