Manchester Central is committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of all visitors, organisers and contractors at all times.

First aid and health and safety

At Manchester Central, we are proud that our provision exceeds the minimum required by law in terms of the facilities on site, the level of staff training and the extent of our liaison with the Health and Safety executive. First aid services are provided throughout your event and there is a dedicated Health and Safety Manager on site.

It is the policy of Manchester Central to gain the co-operation of all our organising clients to provide and maintain a safe working environment for all our contractors, exhibitors and others within the venue. As such, we require all organisers to appoint a competent person to manage health and safety issues relating to their event and to ensure that work connected to their event complies with applicable health and safety legislation and other mandatory requirements.

Security

Manchester Central has its own security team providing round the clock monitoring of the venue and a helpful and considerate service throughout the period of your event. Our Head of Security is available to offer expert advice on the best means of safeguarding your staff and delegates, ensuring your event goes as smoothly as possible.
