Greenbuild Expo is an exhibition and conference promoting sustainability in the construction industry, to an audience of local authorities, housing associations, contractors, developers, architects and housebuilders. The 2010 event will build upon a successful debut in 2009, with an extensive seminar programme covering everything from BREAAM and the Code for Sustainable Homes to green refurb and waste management. Greenbuild Expo takes place on 26^th and 27th May at Manchester Central.

Manchester City Council, Worcester Bosch, Buderus, EcoSkies, SIG, Stroma, Vaillant and Envirolink Northwest are signed up as sponsors. The event is also being supported by the UK Green Building Council, CIBSE, the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and the Construction Products Association.

The two-day event is completely free to attend and features 100 free seminars covering all aspects of sustainable building and refurbishment. Speakers already confirmed include the Carbon Trust, London Development Agency, Balfour Beatty, WSP Environmental, Pick Everard, UK SIPS Association, MBE KTN, BRE and the Sustainable Energy Academy.
